Perfect location, clean and comfortable Very modern refurbishment. Comfortable room and bed. Nice breakfast and open to customisation to the full Scottish breakfast e.g replacing black pudding with extra bacon or eggs. We were in room 17, 2 flights up but easy climb with hallways to walk along before the next staircase. 17 had a view over the railway station and across to Skye...beautiful. Not much train noise as not many trains run over the weekend. There is a lounge bar in the hotel, but it was closed while we were there. Bathroom toiletries provided. Heated towel rail. Shaver point good for electric toothbrush charger. Plenty of storage for clothes. Great location for the station, 30 seconds walk round the corner. Co-op across the road, open till late. Cash machine next door. Lots of places to eat very close by. What’s not to like. We’d stay here again. Downsides - Paper thin walls unfortunately, so could hear whatever was going on next door. Still, mostly quiet. One thing I noticed was the shower water temperature fluctuated to a point where the water became scalding hot...be careful. Avoid the Marine Bar next door. A bit rough for our liking.

Mallaig hotel My brother & I were given a very warm welcome at this comfortable centrally located hotel. Nice breakfast included, very friendly and helpful staff and just a step away from the town centre and restaurants and the train station vertually next door. Big thanks Mallaig

Marine hotel in mallaig We had a warm reception from a lad from Barcelona who was very friendly and showed us to our room which was bright, modern and clean with a lovely view. Breakfast was delicious with a full range available

A Stopover in a Central Location A warm welcome at reception, and very surprised at the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The decor was very modern. The Scottish breakfast was more than adequate and was well cooked and presented. The hotel itself is centrally located and just next to the railway station and a few yards from the dock. The Coop is opposite the hotel and the bank next door. An evening meal is obtainable in a number of eateries. While some people have complained about noise at the hotel, I did not experience any and had a great night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. There was no view from my bedroom (4), but that was immaterial to me as it was dark when I arrived and dark when I rose!!

Girlie Sleepover 4 adult women, been friends since P1...were wanting 2 twin rooms...but since there were none left...we all elected to sleep in one family room! Was great! Warm, spacious and comfortable! Very welcoming staff on arrival (had kept us a parking spot...how thoughtful!!). We had a lovely night between sightseeing...lovely clean room, with a beautiful view of the far side of the harbour, the hills, and the road out of Mallaig!! Loved the window seats (can still remember the view!). Lovely breakfast in the morning. Plenty of delicious options (including which way you'd like your eggs)! Would love to go back! Thanks for a lovely stay!!!

Fantástico Próximo à estação e ao ferry, pelo que a localização é excelente para quem tenha que usar estes transportes logo pela manhã. Quarto limpo, bem decorado e muito confortável. Tem um pub no primeiro piso mas no nosso quarto não havia qualquer ruído. Pequeno almoço muito agradável. Tem estacionamento gratuito mesmo à porta do Hotel.

Lovely and clean Rooms look as if they have been modernised and are quite stylish and very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only thing I would mention is that single duvets are for children - every time I turned over I had to readjust the duvet. Bad enough that as a single traveller I have to sleep in a single bed, but it would be good to have a double bed duvet.

Road trip en famille Chambre famille ( 4 personnes) très agréable grande chambre et bien équipé, parking devant l hotel. Petit déjeuner complet délicieux avec des produits de très bonne qualité. Situé juste en face du Ferry.

Close to the Isle of Skye The hotel was very comfortable with good beds. It is very close to the port and the centre of town. Parking was reserved for guests. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet despite being central to the town.
